Roy is a dedicated professional with proven capabilities in the fields of fund management, quantitative finance and computing. He excels at translating business requirements into functional solutions to improve workflows and facilitate growth through automation and streamlining. This includes coordinating across business units and working with third-party service providers to develop, setup and implement related infrastructure.
Roy is experienced in areas such as algo trading, software development, cybersecurity, programming languages and system administration. He is proficient in Python, C#, Java and C++ as well as in the use of various IDEs, SDKs, APIs and toolkits.
Roy developed a strong interest for computers in his youth, designing websites and writing scripts for fun. In his free time, Roy enjoys vibing at spin classes, practising the Pilates mind-body connection, and going for long walks. To complement his existing credentials, Roy loves tinkering with technology and artificial intelligence, and reading about new scientific discoveries.
Roy holds a Master of Computing in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Diploma in Digital Entertainment Technology from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore.
